Odense

On PLST’s 100-day municipality list for platform-mediated full-home holiday lets — still no tourist tax.

Local focus

  • 100-day raise
  • Gæsteregister
  • No tourist tax

Country context

Pasbekendtgørelsen § 31 requires hotels and listed lodging types to keep a guest register (name, date of birth, residence + photo ID; retain 2 years). Sommerhusloven caps full helårsbolig holiday letting at 30 days private / 70 via a § 43-reporting formidler (municipalities may raise to 100 — Copenhagen has not; Odense has). No national STR licence number and no tourist tax in force.

Self check-in works when guest identity (and photo ID where required) is captured before access — day-cap compliance is a separate prerequisite for helårsbolig lets.
