Country context
Law 4446/2016 art. 111 requires each short-term rental on AADE's Short-Term Stay Property Registry (AMA displayed on listings) and a Statement on Short-Term Stay by the 20th of the month after departure. TAKK is €8/€2 for STR apartments (€15/€4 for detached houses >80 m²); new AMAs are restricted in Athens municipal districts 1–3 through 31 Dec 2026.
Remote arrival works when guest identity and stay details needed for AADE Statements are captured before access. AMA registration is a separate prerequisite — an e-check-in flow does not replace registry membership.
