Turizmus tv. §§ 9/H–9/I require every guest's statutory identity data into VIZA via a certified PMS (okmányolvasó), plus daily anonymised NTAK statistics. Jegyző nyilvántartásba vétel and an NTAK registration number come first; idegenforgalmi adó (IFA) is municipal (kerületi in Budapest). New magánszálláshely / egyéb szálláshely registrations in Budapest are frozen through 31 Dec 2026 (Kertv. 11/H).
Remote arrival works when VIZA-required identity data is captured before access — vizainfo.hu allows remote digital self-scan with host verification by latest on arrival. NTAK's daily close is a separate reporting duty.
