Valencia

GVA VUT inscription (five-year validity) and municipal compatibility report — no city overnight tourist tax as of this review; repeatable SES check-in templates still matter.

Country context

Real Decreto 933/2021 requires lodging providers to collect guest data and transmit reservations and check-ins through SES.HOSPEDAJES within 24 hours. Regional HUT/VUT/VFT licences and Catalonia IEET (Barcelona surcharge) sit on top — Valencia city has no overnight tourist tax as of this review.

Remote arrival is fine when guest data needed for SES is complete before access is released. Interior FAQ text allows collection without physical presence when accuracy can be verified. Reservation and check-in are separate 24-hour communications — do not merge them into one late filing.
